Honoring Copiague’s Spring Athletes

Copiague School District held its annual Spring Sports Awards on May 27 to honor the accomplishments of its high school student-athletes both on and off the field. The event, sponsored by the Copiague Booster Club, was joined by spring coaches, administrators, Board of Education members, friends and family who gathered to share the successes of the varsity softball, girls lacrosse, girls flag football, girls track, boys lacrosse, baseball and boys track teams.
Coaches recognized and celebrated the student-athletes for both their individual and team achievements during the season. They distributed individual awards, including the Coach’s Award, Rookie Award, Most Improved and the MVP Award.
