In recognition of Veterans Day and to honor the veterans within the community and connected to the school district, Great Neck Road Elementary School hosted a ceremonial breakfast on Nov. 7.

To express gratitude for their ongoing support of students and volunteer service, the members of the Copiague School District Board of Education were honored during the Oct. 27 meeting.

In celebration of World Kindness Day on Nov. 13, first grade students at Great Neck Road Elementary School came together to create a colorful kindness quilt, symbolizing the importance of compassion.
