Senior Privileges 2026-2027 School Year

Posted Date: 09/08/26 (07:00 PM)

Dear Parents/Guardians and Senior Students,

As you may be aware, our school policy provides for certain privileges to be granted to our senior students as rewards for their academic achievement and good citizenship.  These privileges are governed by specific restrictions that have been put in place to promote student responsibility and safety.

Senior privileges include (but are not limited to):

  • Use of the senior courtyard (weather permitting)
  • Participation in food truck privileges
  • Participation in Senior Prom
  • Participation in Senior Volleyball Tournaments.

To be eligible to take advantage of these privileges, seniors must:

  • Satisfy academic eligibility standards

  • Maintain an acceptable disciplinary record

  • Demonstrate consistent attendance

  • Carry their school issued ID cards at all times (a requirement for ALL students, not just seniors).

All seniors are eligible to participate in these privileges if they meet the above criteria.  Eligibility will be checked throughout the school year prior to the events and at the start of each marking period.  Senior privileges may be revoked at any time if a student has been found to have abused its application or no longer meets the established standards.  Please note that administration reserves the right to suspend senior privileges at any time for any reason.

If you have any questions about senior privileges, please contact the Senior Class Assistant Principal, Mr. Omar Garcia (ogarcia1@copiague.net).

Sincerely,

Joseph M. Agosta

Principal
