Copiague Recognizes Dedicated Educators And Staff

Copiague School District celebrated two important milestones in the careers of its dedicated staff members during its annual Retiree and Tenure Ceremony on June 22 in the Copiague Middle School auditorium.
Retirees and tenure recipients were joined by district administrators, Board of Education members, colleagues, family members and friends for an evening recognizing their years of service, professional achievement and commitment to the students and families of the Copiague community.
Superintendent of Schools Dr. Kathleen Bannon congratulated the honorees and expressed her gratitude for the lasting impact they have made throughout their careers. She thanked retirees for their years of dedication, leadership and unwavering support, while also recognizing tenure recipients for reaching a significant milestone in their educational careers.
Throughout the ceremony, administrators shared words of appreciation and called each honoree to be recognized for their contributions to the district. The event celebrated the passion, commitment and excellence that have helped shape the Copiague School District and enrich the educational experiences of countless students.
