During their math lessons, second graders at Deauville Gardens West Elementary School have been diving into graphing. Each class voted on their favorite color and tallied the results before creating their own visual representations of the data. Students used Canva, an online graphic design tool, to create picture graphs or bar graphs, as well as traditional paper graphs. The activity helped students practice collecting data, organizing information and presenting it clearly.
