Congratulations to Copiague Middle School science students Kaitlyn Lombardo and Damaris Astimbay, who were named winners in the South Asian American Women’s Alliance Middle School Science Fair on May 18. Kaitlyn placed third in environmental science for her project “Salt vs. Fresh,” while Damaris received third place in biology for her research on “How Do Different Types of Liquids Affect the Growth of a Plant?”
