eSchool Data Parent Portal Accounts - IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ

Dear WGOCHS Families,

Beginning this year, we are requesting that ALL parents/guardians register for a Parent Portal account on eSchool Data, the Copiague Public School District’s student management system.  This account will allow parents/guardians the ability to stay informed of student progress in school in all classes.  
 
By using the Parent Portal, parents/guardians will have access to student grades, attendance (absences and tardiness), transcripts, fees, and schedules.  Progress reports and report cards are also published to the Parent Portal.  

All teachers will be posting graded assignments on the Parent Portal.  This could include homework that is graded, classwork that is graded, projects that are graded, classroom participation, and tests/quizzes.

Parent Portal – Copiague School District
The Copiague Public School District continues to expand the use of eSchool Data’s Parent Portal, a web-based program that allows parents/guardians access to information about their child’s academic progress.

FIRST TIME USE 

  1. Visit the Parent Portal website at: https://parentportal.eschooldata.com/CopiagueUFSD.
  2. Click on Parent Portal Registration.

  3. Follow the onscreen directions by entering all the required information (you will need your child's student ID number. This number is printed on your child's report cards and progress reports. If you do not have it and your child does not know it, please contact the school's guidance office).
  4. Once you submit your information, you will need to wait for district personnel to review your request and approve it. This will take 1-3 days.  You will receive an email stating your account is activated.
  5. After approval, you will be able to login to the Parent Portal Account. Now you’re ready to check your child’s grades!  

USING PARENT PORTAL AFTER REGISTRATION

  1. Visit the Parent Portal website at: https://parentportal.eschooldata.com/CopiagueUFSD
  2. Enter the username and password you used to create your account.
  3. Click on the login button.
  4. Once you have successfully logged in to the Parent Portal, you will see your child’s ID number, name, grade and his/her school. Click on the ID number in blue (example: 010012345). This will open a new window containing information about your child. Above his/her picture you will see tabs, labeled: Home, Profile, Attendance, Report Card, Progress Report
