The visual arts program at Copiague is rooted in the fundamental belief that students learn best in a participative and creative environment placed within a framework of high standards in teaching and learning. The visual arts encourage everyone to work in a creative, cooperative and collaborative manner while promoting independent thinking. We believe that all students can achieve success in the visual arts. All classroom lessons are rooted in the National Core Arts Standards.
