The performing arts program at Copiague is rooted in the fundamental belief that students achieve highest when given opportunities to actively engage in creating, performing, and analyzing musical works of high caliber presented by dedicated and qualified staff. The performing arts allow students the opportunity for expression, to apply critical reasoning skills, and experience social and emotional development that exist in few other places of their educational program. We believe that all students can achieve success in the performing arts. All classroom lessons and school based programs are rooted in the National Core Arts Standards.
