The Middle School music program plays a crucial part in the development of our K-12 music program. The general music program exposes students to the fundamentals of music. Through the use of of instruments, students learn to read, write, create and perform basic rhythmic and melodic passages. Students are exposed to a wide range of concepts and terminology as it relates to works of art. The Vocal program is developed through the Kodaly method, enabling students to perform a culturally diverse and musically demanding repertoire. Student participation in the choral program exceeds 300 students.
